Jingle Performance

Today we sang our jingle at Ara Teina Assembly. Miss Macartney and Mrs Beulah thought we were awesome!!

Dancing Queen!

Today Tiya performed for our class a dance she has been practicing to perform at Temple tomorrow night.

We think she is great!!!

Diggers at work!

Today we went and saw the diggers working hard to help build the new RTLB block.

We had lots of fun watching!!

Yesterday Skiddy came to visit to tell us about the school holiday programme.

Here is the jingle we made to help us remember the road rules when we cross!

We are performing next Friday morning so we need to practice.

It might seem crazy
What we're bout to say.
To cross the road right
you've got to look both ways.

An adult or road patroller

Black and White Ribbon

Does anyone have some white and black (separate) ribbon that our class could use? It would be part of our costume for our jingle performance next week.

Today we had Marlo come and visit us! Illinois loves his new little brother. 

Screen Printing

At the end of last week and today we screen printed our t-shirts. A big thank you to Sylvia (Jett's Mum) who helped us! We think they look great!!! 

If you didnt bring in your t-shirt we are very lucky Sylvia is going to come back to finish them off. So get them in quick so you dont miss out!!!

Arahoe's got talent!

Today we were a great audience for the Arahoe's got talent semi finals! All the acts were amazing! We can't pick a winner!!

Hi parents,

 

You may already know, but if not, this Friday the 5^th of September is the nationwide Lunchbox Day. Lunchbox day is a fundraiser event for Kids Can New Zealand, and is supported by Campbell Live. Arahoe School is taking part in Lunchbox day by asking families to donate a tin can of baked beans or spaghetti (of any brand) on Friday morning. 

All the tin cans donated will be made into a tin can sculpture before being collected by Kids Can. A photo of our sculpture will be sent into Campbell Live and will hopefully appear on the show this Friday! If you would like to take part please bring a tin can donation to the front of room 23 by 9am Friday.
