Today we took Jump Jam on tour to Room 22. We had lots of fun! 

Old t-shirts

As part of our Visual Art plan this term we have been learning about jingles and slogans. Next week we are going to be screen printing our own design onto our T - shirt.

Can each child please bring in an old (doesnt need to be new) t shirt that we are able to screen print on to.

Kite Maker

We have a fantastic Kite Maker in Room 24! 

His kite is made out of bamboo, old curtains, plastic bags and fishing wire!

Library

Congratulations to.. Tiya Patel! Who has taken the most books out of our Arahoe School Library this year.

Just a reminder the library is open before school, at lunchtime and after school until 3.30pm.

Room 24 Super Star!

This amazing classroom member has worked so hard in Reading and got our class certificate in todays whole school assembly!

Book Marks

Today the Centipedes and Butterflies made book marks. We made them so that when we get our chapter books out from the library we wont lose our page! 

Numbers to 10 and the Circles

We are learning our finger patterns to 10. We are going to practice hard at home! Do you know them all?

Commonwealth Medal Winner

Today we were lucky to have Craig Barrett come to talk to us today and show us his silver medal he won at the 2002 Commonwealth Games! It was very heavy! 

Puppy Visitor

Yesterday Keara's brand new puppy came to visit us! He is so little! 

Roadworks Complete!

Our maths road has finished! We worked overtime to get it up on our wall and we think it looks great! 

Construction Site

Today we started making Room 24 Road. We painted a road and then we made shape houses!
